Help Alexandra’s Family Through Crisis
Story
On Saturday, May 10th, 2025, our family’s lives were forever changed.
On May 10th, Alexandra and Gloria were riding in a car with their father and younger brother. The car was in a horrific accident. The car they were in rolled over five times, and everyone inside was rushed to HCMC in Minneapolis.
Only by the grace of God, all involved survived. However, Alexandra and her half-brother were critically injured. Alexandra’s older sister was released without major physical injuries. However, the emotional impact of this accident has left permanent scars.
Alexandra has been in a medically induced coma since the accident on May 10th. She has a cranial fracture and several other facial bones that were shattered or broken. She is fully intubated and sedated as her brain swelling reduces and her body heals. She is currently on 100% support with all bodily functions. We are hoping that will change in the near future.
Alexandra’s mother, Arminda, is 100% responsible for all the care of her children: Alexandra, Jeferson, and Gloria. As a single mom, she is the provider for her children. She is not able to go to work at this time because she is staying with Alexandra in the hospital around the clock.
Alexandra’s father and his wife are caring for Alexandra’s brother, who was also critically injured.
More than anything, we are asking for prayers. Prayers that Alexandra and her younger half-brother will gain strength and make it through their surgeries and healing. Prayers that Gloria and Jeferson will continue to be strong for their mom and sister. Prayers for Alexandra’s half-brother that the injuries he sustained in the accident won’t leave him paralyzed.
We are raising funds to help the family with household bills, hospital bills, money for groceries, and money for the ongoing medical care the family faces.
Thank you for your support. Thank you for your prayers. Without all of you, we wouldn’t be able to make it through this dark time.
